Apply to install an unregistrable moveable dwelling or rigid annexe

Council’s written approval is required for ALL on-site developments in Caravan Parks prior to the works being carried out.  

How to apply

Email

Step 1.Gather supporting documents

Your application will need to include:

  • Site Plan indicating the location of the where the unregistrable moveable dwelling  or rigid annex is to be installed in relation to existing structures. You may wish to, instead, provide a map of the Caravan Park and indicate its location on the map.

Step 3.Email your completed application

Email your completed application form and supporting documents to health@swanhill.vic.gov.au.

Step 4.Pay the application fee

A member of our team will email you with details on how to pay your application fee.

Step 5.Council assesses your application

After your application is received and the application fee has been paid, an Environmental Health Officer will review the submitted documents.  

Step 6.Once your application is acknowledged 

You will receive notification acknowledging receipt of your application confirming you can begin works.

  1. Download the Installation Certificate(PDF, 110KB) and give it to your installer
  2. Proceed with installation in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Regulations 2020.

Step 7.After installation

Your installer will need to email your completed installation certificate along with supporting documents to health@swanhill.vic.gov.au.
