  • Minecraft Monday!

    Every Monday
    Looking for something fun to do after school on a Monday? The Library is now hosting Minecraft sessions every Monday.
  • Baby Rhyme Time

    Every Tuesday & Friday
    Baby Rhyme Time is a fun and interactive session for parents and carers with babies under 18 months old. It promotes the development of your baby’s literacy skills through interactive rhymes and songs.
  • Lego @ the Library

    Every Wednesday
    Come along and enjoy the fun of Lego every Wednesday afternoon!
  • Move and groove

    Every Wednesday
    These highly interactive free sessions are tailored for a toddler’s social, emotional and physical development. Children are encouraged to move as they sing, dance and shake their way through action rhymes and songs. Maracas, a parachute and other simple props are used to engage and enthrall the children.
  • Storytime and craft

    Every Friday and Saturday
    Storytime provides a wide range of stories and craft activities. Children have the chance to meet and socialise with other children while developing their motor and language skills. The storytime sessions are aimed at 3 to 6-year-olds but children of all ages are welcome.
  • Creation Station

    Monday - Saturday throughout the school holiday’s.
    Set up in the children’s area for the duration of the school holidays, children can draw, cut and paste, colour in, complete activity booklets and make all sorts of creations!
  • Loom Bands

    Wednesday, 2, 9, 16, & 23 January 2019.
    Have you just discovered loom bands? Or are you already an expert at making all sorts of creative things with them?
  • Games galore!

    All throughout the school holiday’s.
    Monopoly, Scrabble, Guess Who?, Line-up-4, UNO, Mr Potato Head Pals, Go Fish, Chess, Snakes and Ladders and more!

    Come along and try our new Playstation virtual reality headset!

    We’re holding competitions that ask children to use their imagination to make a fantastic creation of the judge’s choice.
