This project involves the Installation of a solar system (up to 100KW) at the Swan Hill Aquatic and Recreation Centre and the Robinvale Recreation and Aquatic Centre using funding received through the LRCI program.
The capacity of system selected will depend on the market potential, space, load bearing capacity of roof, and price of system.
Energy savings realised through the installation of solar systems at both sites will directly benefit Council by reducing both operational costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
The associated savings will allow Council to undertake additional projects that benefit the community, while a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions helps reduce the impact of climate change.
