Swan Hill Rural City Council is ready to assist local businesses

Swan Hill Rural City Council encourages individuals and businesses to explore the services and resources they offer when looking to start, expand, or acquire a business within the municipality.

Michelle Grainger, Director Development and Planning, explained Council's commitment to supporting local business growth.

"Council offers a dedicated Business Support Team to assist new and existing businesses. We encourage residents to reach out to Council when they are ready to take the next step in their business journey,"

"Council aims to provide a streamlined process that guides business owners through each step,"

"To get started, individuals simply fill out a business questionnaire. Once submitted, they will be connected with the right people to help them with matters such as permits, local laws and ways to access funding, training, and networking opportunities," stated Ms Grainger.

Ms Grainger also mentioned that Council provides online services and resources, including a regular e-newsletter. "To keep updated on the latest business-related news, workshops, events, and grants, we encourage people to sign-up to receive our regular e-newsletter."

"Our region is growing, and Council wants to do everything it can to support local businesses within the municipality," added Ms Grainger.
