Swan Hill Rural City Council wishes to inform the community and visitors to the region that the Pioneer Settlement will be closed on Monday, 25 November, and Tuesday, 26 November.
The temporary closure will affect all Pioneer Settlement attractions, including the PS Pyap, the Murray River Laser Light Show and the Paragon cafe.
Council’s Director Development and Planning, Michelle Grainger said the temporary closure was necessary to carry out essential infrastructure upgrades in preparation for the highly anticipated Swan Hill Tourism and Cultural Hub building works.
“These upgrades are critical to ensuring the Pioneer Settlement continues to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors and aligns with the broader vision of enhancing Swan Hill’s cultural and tourism offerings.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and support as we work towards creating an exciting new chapter for our region’s tourism landscape,” she said.
All Pioneer Settlement services will resume, as usual, on Wednesday, 27 November.
