Tennis Victoria Country Week, the world's largest grass-court tennis tournament, will return to Swan Hill from 9 to 14 February 2025.
Local commercial accommodation is expected to reach capacity during the tournament, and the Swan Hill Rural City Council is encouraging residents living within 10 - 15 kilometres of the Ken Harrison Reserve to consider participating in the home host program.
Director Development and Planning, Michelle Grainger stated "We're reaching out to Swan Hill residents who may have one or two bedrooms, or even their whole house, available for the week to consider participating in the home host program."
She said, Council is excited about the expected increase in visitors to the region, but wants to ensure Swan Hill has a range of adequate accommodation options.
"Country Week 2025 has the potential to significantly boost our local economy. As a community, let's work together to ensure tennis enthusiasts have an enjoyable visit to the region," expressed Ms Grainger.
