Swan Hill Rural City Council on behalf of the Housing Action: Greater Swan Hill committee is excited to help with the  Housing Demand Survey aimed at understanding the future accommodation needs of local businesses.

Council’s Director Development and Planning Michelle Grainger said the survey was aimed at gathering insights on the housing requirements for employees, over the next five years.

“Your participation is vital in helping us gauge the level of demand to help us plan effectively for the future.

‘If you run a business that is currently being impacted by housing shortages, we would particularly like to hear from you.

“Businesses play a central role in our region’s growth and prosperity and by sharing your insights, you will directly contribute to shaping housing strategies that support your workforce and ensures our community remains a vibrant and attractive place to live and work,” Ms Grainger said.

Ms Grainger said the initiative highlighted an ongoing commitment to addressing the current housing shortages.

“Responses will be instrumental in developing housing solutions that meet the needs of our local economy and workforce,” she said.

“Please take a few moments to complete the survey and help us build a brighter future for Greater Swan Hill,” she said.

The survey will be open until midday on Monday, 9 September.
