Swan Hill Rural City Council is excited to announce the development of a comprehensive Integrated Transport and Land Use Strategy that will shape the future of our community.

Council’s Director Development and Planning, Michelle Grainger said the strategic initiative aimed to enhance how we live and move around, ensuring our growth and development align with the needs and aspirations of our residents.

“To ensure we gain valuable insight from our community our consultants will be visiting Swan Hill and Robinvale this week to gather valuable input from local residents,” Ms Grainger said.

Community sessions are scheduled as follows:

  • Swan Hill: Community Tree (outside SportsPower in Campbell Street) Saturday, 24 August from 9am to 12pm.

  • Robinvale: IGA, Saturday, 24 August from 10am to 12pm.

“We encourage all community members to attend these sessions to share their thoughts and ideas. Your feedback is crucial in shaping a strategy that reflects the needs and preferences of our community,” Ms Grainger added.

Ms Grainger said those unable to attend in person are invited to participate by completing an online survey.
