Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery is about to enter the much-anticipated building redevelopment phase.
Council’s Acting CEO, Bruce Myers said construction was about to commence on the much-anticipated Art Gallery redevelopment.
“We’re thrilled to be getting closer, and soon we will begin to see real action commence on the ground, when the real excitement begins.
“We can’t wait to watch this new space unveil,” he said.
Mr Myers said during construction the Gallery would be working from a temporary pop-up space at the Swan Hill Regional Library
“We’re delighted to confirm that a temporary pop-up space will be nestled within Swan Hill Regional Library.
“We will begin transitioning to our new space at the library from Tuesday, 15 October.
“This temporary arrangement will ensure that Art Gallery functions can continue to flourish while the Gallery undergoes its redevelopment.
“The pop-up will be designed to accommodate essential features, including a small gift shop, a dedicated workstation for gallery staff, and a versatile area for conducting workshops and public programs,” Mr Myers said.
The construction of the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery is expected to take approximately 12 months
