YouthInc is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the highly anticipated 2025 Summer Camp to Anglesea– a, 3-night, 4-day adventure designed for young people aged 15–18.
The camp will run from Monday, 20 to Thursday, 23 January 2025.
Council’s Youth Support Coordinator, Will Burns, said the free camp provides an incredible opportunity for participants to step out of their comfort zones, enhance leadership and teamwork abilities, and build social and emotional skills.
“Camp will be full of exciting activities, with plenty of downtime to relax on the beach. It’s a fantastic chance to step out of your comfort zone, build connections, and develop new skills. This experience is the perfect way to kick off 2025—giving young people in our community the space to reflect, recharge, and get ready for the year ahead” said Steph Hartshorn, Youth support Officer.
Mr Burns encourage young people to get involved by completing their application to participate.
“Applications are officially open, so don’t wait! If you’ve already submitted an Expression of Interest, make sure to complete the Consent and Medical Forms and pay the $50 deposit to lock in your spot.
“Don’t worry – the deposit will come back to you after camp. But spots are limited to the first 28 people who apply, with everyone else joining the waitlist.
“Applications close at 5 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024.
“Getting your application in is easy. Email your forms to stephanie.hartshorn@swanhill.vic.gov.au, or swing by and drop them off in person at Youth Inc., 50-52 Campbell Street, Swan Hill, or the Robinvale Resource Centre, 72 Herbert Street, Robinvale,” Miss Hartshorn said.
