Cr King was born and raised within the municipality and elected to Council in 2020.
He is a former farmer, qualified engineer and project manager, a current commercial business owner and football umpire. Stuart is married to Angela and between them they have 9 children and 2 grandchildren.
Stuart is passionate about this community. He was motivated to seek election to Council to fulfil an obligation to deliver basic services to ratepayers and to create an environment that stimulates existing businesses.
His goal is to attract new investment to the municipality from higher tiers of Government and the private sector to provide better infrastructure, improved services, and a place where people want to live, work and play.
