Nyah Recreation Reserve

Nyah Recreation Reserve is an inviting community space located on the same grounds as the Nyah Community Center. This reserve features a well-maintained football oval and netball courts, perfect for local sports and community events.

Families will appreciate the shaded playground, offering a safe and enjoyable area for children to play. Additionally, the reserve includes a camping ground with a convenient dump point, making it an excellent spot for both day visitors and overnight campers.

Camping

  • The maximum length of stay is 7 nights in a 60-day period
  • If you are staying more than 3 nights, you must register with the Nyah Store and Post Office located on the Murray Valley Highway Nyah
  • There is no power or showers provided on-site
  • Free standing tents are only permitted when used in conjunction with RV, caravan or camper trailer

Dogs

You can bring your dog to the parks within our municipality, but they must:

  • be on a leash at all times
  • not be within 10 metres of any playgrounds or barbecues
