Feldtmann Park

Feldtmann Park

Nestled within a peaceful corner of the community, this quaint park offers a shaded sanctuary perfect for quiet reflection.

The gentle whisper of leaves and the dappled sunlight create a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation.

With its unassuming charm, this small reserve invites visitors to pause and enjoy a moment of serenity away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Dogs

You can bring your dog to the parks within our municipality, but they must:

  • be on a leash at all times

Feldtmann Park is dedicated to the memory of Sergeant Arthur Feldtmann Officer in Charge at the Swan HIll Police from 1945 - 1959

Remembered with respect and admiration by the people of Swan Hill for his outstanding contribution to the local community and, in particular, his support for local history and the provision of improved services for youth, the elderly and the Swan Hill Aboriginal Community.

Special Tribute from Ivy Bell, Elder (Swan Hill Aboriginal Community)

On behalf of myself and families, kinship families and my Elders. We take time to pause and ponder in our Aboriginal community of the Murray River. The people of Swan Hill hold you in great admiration.  We all say 'Thank you' Sarge.
