A fantastic opportunity for aspiring dancers!

The Victorian State Ballet and Swan Hill Town Hall are offering workshops for dancers with an opportunity for selected dancers to perform with the Company at the Swan Hill Town Hall on Saturday 19 July 2pm in their production of Beauty and the Beast.

Applications close: Monday 23 June 2025 at 5pm - or when allocation is exhausted
Workshop / Auditions: Wednesday 2 July 2025
Full dress rehearsal: Friday 18 July 2025 
Performance: Saturday 19 July 2025

Workshop / Auditions

Ages 10 years to 17 years male and female - with basic ballet training
Attire: Dance wear and ballet shoes. If a confident dancer on pointe then please bring your pointe shoes.

GROUP 1 (Junior and intermediate)

• 3.45pm - Registration (must sign in at the Bookings Office on arrival)
• 4.00pm - 5.00pm - Workshop

GROUP 2 (Senior/advanced)

• 4.45pm - Registration (must sign in at the Bookings Office on arrival)
• 5.00pm - 6.00pm - Workshop

AUDITIONS for selected dancers from each group

• 6.00pm - 8.00pm (approx end time)
• Dancers at the end of the audition will be notified if selected for the performance.
