Notice to extend lease

Notice is given pursuant to Section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 of the intention of the Swan Hill Rural City Council (“the Council”) to Lease Council owned Land.

At a meeting on 19 February 2019, Swan Hill Rural City Council resolved to give public notice of its intention to lease the following land:

Part of 190 Back Boga Road, Castle Donnington VI Lot 2 PS 437857 Castle Donnington for a period of 20 years (Aircraft Hangar).

Submissions in respect of this notice will be considered in accordance with Section 223 (1) of the Local Government Act 1989. Any person wishing to make a submission in accordance with this section must do so within 28 (twenty eight) days after publication of this notice.

Persons making submissions are entitled to appear in person or to be represented by a person specified within the submission at a meeting to be heard in support of the submission. Please indicate in your submission if you want to speak to your submission.

Submissions are to be in writing and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Swan Hill Rural City Council, 45 Splatt Street, Swan Hill Victoria 3585 and must be received by 4pm on Monday 15 April.

If no submissions to the lease of the land are received pursuant to Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989, Council Officers are authorised to lease the land to prospective lessee.
