Melbourne City Ballet – Youth Workshops

The Melbourne City Ballet are coming to Swan Hill on Thursday 5 July, to present a double-bill performance of Tink & Peter and the Wolf.   While they are here, they will be delivering a FREE workshop for young dancers, where the performers from the show, will teach young people some of the choreography from the show.

There is a maximum of up to 60 students ( aged 10 years and above).  We will notify all applicants prior to workshop date.

Duration of the workshop is 45 minutes – 1 hour

Peter and the Wolf and Tink will be performed that evening at the Town Hall, starting at 6.30pm.

Melbourne City Ballet is a full time classical ballet company based in Coburg, Victoria who are known for their unique choreography and high quality artists and has quickly grown on the Australian Arts Scene under the guidance of Artistic Director Michael Pappalardo who founded the company in 2013.

The organisation is focused on developing classical ballet throughout metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Australia.  The company features some of the finest dancers within the country who are known for their strength and diversity.  Melbourne City Ballet boasts a diverse repertoire of contemporary and neoclassical works while also maintaining traditional classical repertoire.
