Swan Hill Rural City Council is proud to support the upcoming Swan Hill Disability Services trivia night and auction, a joint fundraiser for Swan Hill Specialist School, Swan Hill Pioneer Animal Nursery, Murray Human Services and Task Force.
Taking place this Friday, 22 May at the Italian Social Club, the night will include trivia, a goods and services and silent auction, games, raffles and a lucky door prize.
Swan Hill Rural City Council Mayor Michael Adamson said he was looking forward to emceeing the night.
“These organisations provide fantastic services to our special needs community, and are incredibly deserving of community support,” Mayor Adamson said.
“The funds raised from the night will go towards ensuring these organisations can continue to offer high quality disability support services, from early learning education right through to employment opportunities.”
Some of the major ticket items up for auction include a fireworks show to the value of $2,000 from Fireworks Victoria, an outdoor bar setting supplied by Mitre 10, and two fortnightly meals for a year from Leonard’s Chicken.
Tickets are $10 each and include a light supper at the end of the night. Drinks will be available at bar prices.
